Can't Find keyboard

I finally made a forum account here to see if anyone can help find this keyboard. Its been over a month and i still cant find it. I had many guesses like its from Cooler master but there support team said it wasn't theirs. The VID and PID is
VID_258A PID_0016 I will give any information that is needed.

Looks like this is a USB Gaming Keyboard made by BYTech

BYTech look like they manufacture alot of different types of goods that alot of the time are most likely rebranded so it might not have been Cooler Master but could have been a similar brand.

DougThwaites Yeah i was looking around at all the Bytech stuff but nothing looks like anything like mine. I'm trying to find the drivers for it but yet cant find what looks close to my model.

Hex I wonder if its ByTech parts in a new case.

Are there any model numbers on the keyboard itself? / Could you upload a picture of it.

Here you go, There is no model numbers on that back or the top. When i took it apart I found some but looked them up to nothing.
The numbers on the back of the motherboard are CK8822/35-BYK16-RGB(DIP) VER:02 2018.04.26
and one thing i noticed was numbers under the space bar when taken out are GC357-012BH1

Just wanted to let you know I'll be having another look at this in a few days. Out of curiosity are you wanting to know the make and model to find drivers? and if so is it controlling the RGB's that you can't do or does the whole keyboard not work?

DougThwaites im trying to find the drivers so i can have the right RGB modes with the keybinds. Like TAB is not to change the color mode but its on insert. I made the mistake of installing the wrong drivers from cooler master because i thought it was the same keyboard. Which of course wasn't. A lot of the key binds got mess up and tab is just one of them.

Hex I can see why you thought it was from Cooler Master its identical looking to a CK350. If its a knock off it's pretty impressive.

I would imagine there are no drivers / software for this keyboard and the RGB control is just built into the keyboard.

If changing the colour mode is on insert instead of tab I am guessing the Cooler Master driver is still installed as thats what the CK350 uses so removing that and it should default back to whatever is built in e.g. using the tab button.

DougThwaites I forgot to reply, got hook on other things. But the problem is that snice the cooler master driver is installed, it put some type of different firmware on it. Can't uninstall the "driver" or whatever you call it from the keyboard. Pretty much why im trying to find the model so I can flash it.

Surprised the firmware even took but yea thats unfortunate. Will be hard to find frimware. Please update us if you get anywhere 🙂

This KB looks like a sample. It should be made by ChuanDong, an OEM factory in Dongguan, but not sure for which customer.
PID_0016 is used for our RGB KB series firmware, not belong to any customer.

Is there any way you could provide any flashing utility and firmware to help get this keyboard back to a working state?
